Rowing the Boat

It's Kim from Katydid Cards with you today!

When I saw this Miss Kate Cuttables Man Fishing cut file in the Silhouette store, it brought back a memory of something that happened long ago.  It's funny how things trigger memories.

And here's the card I made for my design team post today:

The file included a fishing pole, which I removed and replaced with oars I found on the Internet.  The waves were made using Miss Kate's Underwater Borders.  I turned it into a rocker card...great for the waves.

If you'd like to know more about the card or the story behind the memory, please come visit me at my blog.  And don't forget to get your Miss Kate’s freebie of the week.

Never Forget 9/11 Tribute

Hello my crafty friends!!

It's Connie Can Crop here and my day to post with  Miss Kate Cuttables!

But first, did you know that Miss Kate Cuttables gives away a free file everyday?
YES, absolutely FREE. So what are you waiting for, head over there and get your free file now!!

I created this layout to remember our fallen from 9/11. One of my friend's neighbors always puts together this amazing display to honor the men and women who lost their lives that dreaded day.
The patriotic stars from Miss Kate Cuttables added the perfect touch to this special layout.

I can't thank you enough for checking out my project. It means the world to me and I hope you truly enjoyed it. May it inspire you to create something wonderful!   Scrappy Hugs!

Dolphin Layout

Hi All! Before I get into the details of my layout just a reminder to grab the Freebie of the Week on the Miss Kate Cuttables site.

As Hurricane Irma is making its way toward the Keys it makes me think of all the amazing dolphins and wonderful people who work at The Dolphin Research Center. My niece Sarah is a Trainer there. I'm hoping everyone is safe including the dolphins.

I visited the Dolphin Research Center when I went to the Keys for Sarah and Phil's (my nephew) wedding.

Here is my layout capturing all the memories:

I used the Splish Splash Title for my layout and the Wave Borders.

The cute Dolphin Silhouette was a perfect addition to my layout.
(those two lovely ladies are my great nieces)

Prayers to all who are impacted by the Hurricane!
